Hamlet is a character who masterfully directs, performs, and lives the play within the play; a jester among jesters, a noble among nobles, as clever as the cleverest, with acting so perfect it rivals that of a flawless madman. At the same time, he is a person who wonders to himself how an actor can change appearance, identity, and existence. Like his style, Hamlet’s personality is constantly in flux, and this time he appears alone on stage, both within and outside the events, simultaneously living and narrating them.
