Soner Olgun
Born in Fethiye, Soner Olgun graduated from Bornova Anatolian High School and Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre/Dramatic Writing. The artist began his music career in 1992 with his debut album “Letafet”, and later released “Her Şey Değişmeli” (1994), “İyi Bayramlar” (1999), “İyi Bayramlar Türkiye” (2004), “Sevda Diye Bir Kuş” (2012), and “Yakarım Yağmurları” (2015), sharing his music with music enthusiasts over the years. Olgun, who is both the playwright and composer of the stage play “Letafet”, also produced and hosted the music programs “Soner Olgun ile İyi Bayramlar” on Cine5 and TV8. Performing in numerous cities across Turkiye and Northern Cyprus, the artist set an extraordinary record by appearing at the same venue in Istanbul for 17 consecutive years from 1997 to 2014. Since 2014, Olgun has continued his concert performances across various cities in Turkiye and has also performed for many consecutive years at the Merit Park Hotel in Northern Cyprus, earning the distinction of being the artist with the most performances there. Known for his live performances, powerful voice, and commanding stage presence, Soner Olgun is recognized as one of Turkiye’s most accomplished artists, having written or composed 35 original works to date.
