Golden Karagöz ensembles pay a visit to Deputy Mayor Biba

The meeting, chaired by Şahin Biba at the Historic Municipality Building, was also attended by executives of the Metropolitan Municipality and BKSTV. Deputy Mayor Şahin Biba chatted with the visiting ensembles and jury members in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Noting that he had watched with great interest the performances presented by all the ensembles at the competition's opening program, Deputy Mayor Biba thanked the country representatives for their magnificent performances. Touching on Bursa's multicultural character and deep-rooted history, Deputy Mayor Biba emphasized the contribution that the visiting dancers' getting to know the city's landmark sites up close would make to the promotion of Bursa.

During the visit, representatives of the ensembles taking part in the festival presented Deputy Mayor Biba with gifts symbolizing their countries. After a group photograph with the folk dance representatives and jury members, the dancers set off to every corner of the city to bring their performances to the people of Bursa.
