Hacivat sets up the swing, which is an heirloom from his grandfather, in the neighborhood to operate. Karagöz insists and joins Hacivat in the swing business. Karagöz will shake the incoming customers, the money earned will be shared. Celebi, Laz, Beberuhi come and sway. The last Jew falls off the swing while swinging. Karagöz thinks he is dead and is alarmed. But he’s actually faking it. Later, he sobered up and deceived Karagöz and ran away to avoid paying the money. Hacivat comes to the stageandthey share the money with Karagöz. Learning that the Jew does not give money, Hacivat says, “I will take it from him.” and the fun begins.

He approaches with fear, looks inside, and what he sees is the jar filled with food. He sets out to find his way home again. The inhabitants of the forest realize the situation and come together to teach Karagöz a lesson.
